Wathnak VYWathnak Vy, in Khmer វី វឌ្ឍនៈ (known as Both /បុត្រ/ or Oun Nak /អូនណាក់/) is an international registered and certified counsellor and psychotherapist with a background in Master in Counselling from the most prestigious counselling specialised university in Australia, the University of Southern Queensland. In 2021, Mr. Vy continues his education in Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) pursuing his dream to become a migration agent practicing migration law on top of his counselling practices.
Mr. Vy completed his undergraduate in Bachelor of International Development, Bachelor of Social Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Mr. Vy was born and grew up in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with Vietnamese and Cambodian (Khmer) heritage. His family and himself immigrated to Australia in 2012 in support of his higher academics. His academic background includes interdisciplinary work in both anthropology, social sciences and emotional wellbeing. Currently, Mr. Vy is a senior counsellor and psychotherapist at the Relationships Australia of South Australia. He is also appointed to be a Cambodian (Khmer) Justice of the Peace for the state of South Australia. Mr. Vy is also engaged in several professional activities in Australia also community development back in Cambodia and continuing inspirited diverse young people across Australia. |
